At precisely half past two, Sinterklaas made a unique entrance riding in a classic Mercedes, driven by Wegwijspiet, accompanied by a couple of pieten on a bakfiets with a vintage fire engine siren. The surprise was met with joy and awe as Nico Aaldering of the Gallery arranged the special transportation for Sinterklaas.
